After a teacher suggested an acting audition, it led to Big Hit Entertainment. He was moved to Korean Arts High School after passing the auditions in 2012 and graduated from this school in 2014. Since 2018, Jimin has been registered in the Global Cyber University.
On June 13, 2013, with the single ‘No More Dream,’ Jimin made his debut as a BTS member. The vocalist and dancer is Jimin’s role within the party. He released three solo songs under BTS: “Lie,” “Serendipity.” The first one was released on the second studio album of the band, Wings, in 2016. He attended Busan Elementary and Yonsan Middle School when he was a child. When he was a child, he participated at the Just Dance Academy during middle school and learned how to pop and snuggle. Jimin had studied contemporary dance at the Busan University of Arts before becoming an intern and was a top student in the modern dance department.
